Ink in progress

So I inked something for the first time, using Faber-Castell Pitt art pens in XS size.
I loved the process of inking it, and I'll probably do so a lot more often.

I'm not sure how to color it or what phrase I want in the background. I was thinking of "Crying isn't secret, it's the art of how we grieve" from a song by Blue October, but I'm not sure.

I know that I'll probably use colored pencils on the subjects and water color in the background.

Any suggestions for a phrase would be greatly appreciated.
